Certified Financial Planner
President and Founder
Aurora founded the company in 2004 and is the President and Owner of Aurora Tancock Financial Services.
Aurora received her Certified Financial Planner designation in 2009, and has over 30 years of experience in financial services. Along with her team, Aurora works together with clients to help them better understand and plan for their financial future.
In 1999 she made a major decision to resign her administrative role and became a financial security advisor. Since then she has received many accolades for her achievements. In 2000, her first full year as an advisor, she qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), an organization that recognizes top performers in the financial industry around the world. She has continued to qualify every year since, and has served on various committees including being appointed Divisional Vice President for the Program General Assembly for the Annual Meeting in 2015 in New Orleans. She was also the 2016 – 2017 Chair for Canada for the Membership and Communications Committee and is currently a Global Council Member of the Finance Division.
Aurora co-authored a book on financial planning called Synergize Your Wealth, and is often asked to speak to her peers on her business successes and has had articles published in magazines worldwide.
Away from the business, Aurora and her husband enjoy gardening, traveling, and spending time with family and friends, her grandson and her new granddaughter.
BRENT BEAUDOIN, BBA
Certified Financial Planner
Brent joined the ATFS team in 2018, with almost two decades of experience in the financial services industry. Brent learned about budgeting and compound interest at an early age and caught the bug. The Business Program and Varsity Swimming lured Brent to Brock University and the Niagara Region. A Graduate of the Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) program, Brent is equally proud of his contributions and many achievements on the Varsity Swim Team.
While attending Brock University Brent was accepted into a coveted undergrad program with one of Canada’s most prominent banks. In 2001 he formally began his career as Financial Security Advisor and in 2005 he had attained his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Brent specializes in personalized Comprehensive Financial Planning with a diverse clientele of goal oriented individuals & families, executives and business owners.
Away from the office Brent is equally active with his family, hobbies and other endeavors. He coaches Girls Baseball, volunteers on an Education Council and helps with trail maintenance near his home. Where time permits Brent can still be found swimming a few early mornings a week and in nicer weather out cycling on the trails and country roads of Niagara with friends and local cycling club.
MICHAEL ALLEN, BBA
Financial Security Advisor
Michael began his career with London Life, and has been working closely with Aurora Tancock Financial Services since the start of 2016. Michael officially joined the organization in June of the same year, and has enjoyed working with young families, as well as clients approaching retirement.
Michael is a local graduate, receiving his Bachelors of Business Administration with Honours from Brock University. He was introduced to finances at a young age, investing his hard earned paper route money in GICs, and later into investments.
Michael is supported by the ATFS team led by Aurora, whose teamwork and professionalism are helping him build long-term relationships with his growing client base, while providing excellent customer service.
Michael is happily married with a beautiful daughter and son. Away from the business, he enjoys golfing, skiing, relaxing at the cottage, and always making time for family and friends.
CHRISTINE, BBA, ALMI, ACS
Office Leader and Executive Assistant
Christine became a part of Aurora’s team when the Race Street office opened in 2011. She accepted the role of Office Leader and Executive Assistant where she currently leads the administrative team, and handles all of the new business processing. Christine, along with her team provide outstanding customer service to all clients to ensure timely delivery and thorough completion of all our advisors’ work.
Christine joined London Life in 2006 straight out of school, and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from Brock University. Her career began as a marketing associate at Freedom 55 Financial Niagara where she worked alongside a number of financial security advisors, including Aurora.
In 2015 Christine attained her Associate, Life Management Institute (ALMI) and Associate Customer Service (ACS) designations from the Life Office Management Association (LOMA). She recently obtained her Life License and successfully completed the Canadian Investment Funds Course.
Christine and her husband are kept busy with their three children. Outside of work she enjoys reading, outdoor activities, and spending time with family.
Mary comes to our team with 25 years experience in the Financial Services Industry. She began her career with SunLife in 1993 as an Administrative Assistant and joined our team in 2017.
Mary has lived in Niagara Falls her whole life and has been married for 30 plus years with three children and has welcomed her first grandchild.
Outside of work Mary enjoys spending time on her motorcycle, traveling around the world, and spending time with her granddaughter.
Laura comes to us with 13 years experience in the Financial Services Industry, 15 years experience as a legal assistant and a Business Graduate from Niagara College.
Laura was born and raised in Welland and currently resides there with her husband of 30 plus years and has one son.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out at the gym, traveling, and volunteering with the Welland Humane Society.
Jacqueline joined our team at the end of 2021 and comes to us with a strong customer service background and 8 years in the Financial Services Industry.
Prior to working in Financial Services, Jacqueline has also worked as an Administrative Assistant for various organizations. She takes great pride in her work and looks forward to developing her skills to support the team.
Outside of work, Jacqueline enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys going to concerts.
Aliston comes to us with over 30 years experience in Document Control and Administration Services.
She was born in Scotland and grew up in the Merritton area of St. Catharines. Aliston currently resides in Thorold with her husband, she has three children and a 6 year old high energy Vizsla.
Outside of work, Aliston enjoys spending time with family and friends, designing interiors and gardens, as well as travelling and golfing.
