Certified Financial Planner
President and Founder
Aurora founded the company in 2004 and is the President and Owner of Aurora Tancock Financial Services.
Aurora received her Certified Financial Planner designation in 2009, and has over 30 years of experience in financial services. Along with her team, Aurora works together with clients to help them better understand and plan for their financial future.
In 1999 she made a major decision to resign her administrative role and became a financial security advisor. Since then she has received many accolades for her achievements. In 2000, her first full year as an advisor, she qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), an organization that recognizes top performers in the financial industry around the world. She has continued to qualify every year since, and has served on various committees including being appointed Divisional Vice President for the Program General Assembly for the Annual Meeting in 2015 in New Orleans. She was also the 2016 – 2017 Chair for Canada for the Membership and Communications Committee and is currently a Board Member of their International Foundation.
Aurora co-authored a book on financial planning called Synergize Your Wealth, and is often asked to speak to her peers on her business successes and has had articles published in magazines worldwide.
Away from the business, Aurora and her husband enjoy gardening, traveling, and spending time with family and friends, her grandson and granddaughter.
Sashia Veerman, CFP
Certified Financial Planner
Sashia provides her clients with a customized approach to managing their finances, rooted in creative tax-efficient wealth strategies and estate planning. Sashia takes great pleasure in investing the time necessary to understand who her clients truly are and their uniquely personal values and goals. This understanding enables her to enlist a perfectly tailored team of experts for each client, which in turn builds a level of trust with her clients upon which genuine, long-lasting relationships are formed.
Sashia began her career in business after attending the University of Toronto, she transitioned into the union insurance sector where her passion for working with individuals and their families began. She progressed into full financial planning with the active intent to create lasting financial security for her clients. Empowering them to live the lives they desire, free from financial uncertainty.
REYAM ABDULRIDHA, QAFP
Qualified Associate Financial Planner
Reyam began her career with Canada Life as a Financial Security Advisor when she moved from Vancouver, British Columbia to St. Catharines, Ontario in 2019. She holds licenses in BC and Ontario and is able to provide her services to clients in both provinces. Reyam joined Aurora Tancock Financial in January of 2022 and has been working closely alongside Aurora. In March of 2022, she obtained her Qualified Associate Financial Planner Designation and is currently working towards becoming a Certified Financial Planner.
Reyam is committed to assisting her clients define and achieve their financial goals by following a comprehensive financial plan. She enjoys working with professionals and families.
Away from the business Reyam enjoys watching and playing sports, cooking, travelling, and renovation projects.
MARY
Executive Assistant
Mary joined the team in 2017 and comes to us with 30 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry.
Mary has lived in Niagara Falls her whole life and is married with 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
Outside of work, Mary enjoys long distance travels on her Harley Davidson and enjoys spending time with her beautiful grandchildren.
LAURA
Executive Assistant
Laura comes to us with 13 years experience in the Financial Services Industry, 15 years experience as a legal assistant and a Business Graduate from Niagara College.
Laura was born and raised in Welland and currently resides there with her husband of 30 plus years and has one son.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out at the gym, traveling, and volunteering with the Welland Humane Society.
ALISTON
Executive Assistant
Aliston comes to us with over 30 years experience in Document Control and Administration Services.
She was born in Scotland and grew up in the Merritton area of St. Catharines. Aliston currently resides in Thorold with her husband, she has three children and a 6 year old high energy Vizsla.
Outside of work, Aliston enjoys spending time with family and friends, designing interiors and gardens, as well as travelling and golfing.
